How to read the DatabaseQuick guide

Start with Expected P/G, Driver and Deployment. The other views let you inspect observed usage, offensive creation and NHL Edge context in more detail.

Expected P/G Estimated points per game based on current performance, role and underlying indicators.
Driver How strongly the player is driving offensive creation.
Model Deployment Fantasy Hub’s model view of how favorable the player’s role and usage are.
Actual Deployment Observed NHL usage from official shifts and play-by-play: 5v5 role, power-play role and usage share.
Trajectory Whether current production and expected production are improving, stable or declining relative to the player’s baseline.
Shot Creation How strongly the player is creating shot-based offense.
Play Creation How strongly the player is creating offense through passing and playmaking.
NHL Edge Context Skating, zone-territory and shot-location data from NHL Edge. It adds context and does not directly change Expected P/G or Current Value.
Territory Where the player is operating on the ice, especially offensive-zone share at even strength and on the power play.
Skating Activity Skating volume and higher-speed activity normalized for usage.
High-area SOG Share of shots on goal generated from more dangerous scoring areas.
Confidence How much current evidence supports the observed deployment reading.
Core production, process and model opportunity.
